Nobody quite knows what happened to VW’s chief auditor Peter Dörfler, who was said to be reassigned. However, the hallway radio reports that M.-C. Eberl (Porsche Auditor) is getting ready to assume Dörfler’s position, if only on a temporary basis.

Hallway radio confirms that Frank Tuch, head of Volkswagen’s Quality department, has been suspended.

Hanno Jelden, Development ECUs, has been suspended, says the hallway radio. He has an interesting history.

The hallway radio warns : Do not interpret Joachim Rothenpieler‘s  absence from the job as a sign that he is also involved. The development head of Volkswagen’s commercial vehicle arm suffers from food poisoning, and he is in critical condition, the hallway radio reports.

Standard disclaimer: No responsibility is taken for the correctness of this information. Hallway radio reports reflect the current buzz of Volkswagen’s internal rumor mill, and as such the reports are not always correct. However, the radio has a very high batting average, so far, at least.
