Tesla’s deteriorating payment behaviors have claimed their (AFAIK) first fatality. Dutch auto transport company Lucius Autotransport of Schijndel, Netherlands, declared bankruptcy after Tesla Motors Netherlands did not pay its bills, says the Tilburg paper BD, which received the information from court-appointed trustee Willem Berendsen.
Tesla did not react to an inquiry of the paper. Owner Joachim Lucius of Lucius Autotransport did not want to comment, says the paper.
The financial problems at Lucius that triggered the bankruptcy, are mainly caused by unpaid bills by Tesla, the paper quotes the trustee as saying. According to the report, the arrears are more than Euro 400,000 ($466,000).
In recent weeks, there have been increasing reports about Tesla contractors filing Mechanic’s liens against Tesla after bills remain unpaid.

According to this Twitter post, even the supplier of Tesla’s infamous huge tent, housing a mostly manual production line, has to filed papers against Tesla.
