New car sales Japan, March 2014: All downhill from here

Japan’s Automobile Dealers and Mini Vehicles associations released March sales for the domestic Japanese  market, a day after shoppers mobbed department stores to lock in a 5 percent sales tax that increased to eight percent today. Powered by the yen to save three percent in tax, new car sales across all categories were up 27.4 percent in March, and 20.7 percent for the year.
