Germany BEV Monthly: Tesla in the dumps.
August wasn’t a hot month in Germany when it came to BEVs. Registrations of battery-operated vehicles cratered 68.8% YOY, while hybrids were down only 1.5%, Germany’s regulator Kraftfahrt Bundesamt reports. Tesla was down a gut-wrenching 65.7% in August and is down 44.7% for the year. Elon Musk better get off Xitter and his nazi propaganda and try some marketing instead.
For the month of August, Tesla landed in the basement, capturing only 8.8% of the not so hot BEV market, while Volkswagen Group and BMW expanded their market share.
